Obv no stars the day i get a tripod and super fast prime. But idk how good this thing is for astrophotography with hom much it seems to struggle with point light sources

mia@shrimptest.0x0.st@snacks yea you want a lens with as little coma as possible for that… hence i got that samyang f/1.8 20mm when it was on sale. center sharpness could be better but you don’t really get better corners even with much more expensive lenses. coma/fringing is insignificant enough that even in the worst case it only needs slight filtering in post
