@desea sorry sorry I totally forgot that a cardiopulmonary bypass machine existed. Yes this machine makes it so you have no heartbeat and no respiration. It's used when you undergo heart surgery. I've literally been on one and I somehow forgot they existed. There is also ECMO which is used for longer term support. But I forget the exact mechanisms of it.
