one thing im thinking about with my woodworking is using local woods rather than something more exotic like ebony or rosewood because i know that european forestry is fairly sustainable and not exploitative but cannot make the same guarantee for, say, brazil

@coolbean if you need something akin to tropic hardwoods you can source robinia locally, just beware of the dust when working with it
