@ube i just really cant stand the configuration format compared to hostname.$INTERFACE on openbsd. wpa_supplicant configs are so much more tedious to write by hand while i can write a hostname.iwm0 literally from memory

@bea14s yeah its a tradeoff. worse manual configuration, but easier automated ui config. both are fine by me, imho. but i don't like poetteringware and i think the old school or bsd style way of doing it is probably better, at the very least for simplicity and lightweightness
