@ube @shitpisscum @captain_arepa reeeeeee stacks are LIFO
I do that myself tho I forget things and have to try to retake the path I'd earlier thought

@ube @captain_arepa correct me if I'm wrong but from some thing I saw from autistic people online seems like there's a lot of "manual" mental processing done, as in "oh the other person stopped speaking it's my turn now, start speaking about x", ig this "manually looking up thoughts" kind of fits into that

Inb4 I develop a special interest in how autistic people think lol

@ube @captain_arepa @shitpisscum some of these were weighted by non-autism things

@ube @captain_arepa like a software based emulation compared to it being hardwired in "normal" people? If that makes any sense

@ube does understanding kind of person mean that i give people the benefit of the doubt and try to understand why they did something or that i actually understand them overall?

@ube
>Sometimes a thought or a subject gets stuck in my mind and I have to talk about it even if no one is interested.
not true, i always managed to find someone interested lol

@ube also, a bunch of these questions are weird to answer because most people i actually interact with are neurodivergent even back in kindergarden

@ube adhd is much more common, so my parents got asked a bunch why their quiet calm kid is getting along mostly with the hyperactive ones that always cause trouble

@ube @shitpisscum @nigger

manually breathing

that reminds me, coughing is a reflex act for most people, but due NDE trauma I have to make a conscious effort to cough kek_pain

@nigger @ube was a very common pattern for me and my social circles so yeah, i think kids with adhd and autism tend to get along

@shitpisscum@mrhands.horse @ube@spergia.net I had a hard time answering that, since I rely on the method of loci (i.e. mind palace) to deal with memories.

Unfortunately it doesn't work as intended, since it's mostly filled with useless statistics and random data, old National Geographic articles and bits and pieces of anime, manga and hentai, lmao

@ube you're prob the most autistic person i've met, there was only one guy i was in school with who was so bad even all the aspies in the programming class had issues getting along with him

@ube he might've had worse autism, or other issues, or just very unlucky symptoms. Idk

@captain_arepa @shitpisscum @ube interesting, I can see that as having value because I would go on walks with audiobooks and visualising parts of my uni reminds me of certain sections of a few of them, even a year later

@ube you're 11 points off the highest recorded certified score in that test lmao. Also what makes you say i'm more dysfunctional? Doc didn't even give me a tism diagnosis as a kid when my parents started suspecting it

@snacks @ube surprisingly(?) i might be among the least autistic people this side of fedi

still dysfunctional as fuck but for other reasons

@snacks @ube also my soon-to-be-ex wife insists she isn’t autistic but she’d score at least 100 on this, easily. also did get diagnosed as a kid

it’s actually one of the reasons i constantly had to go out of my way to avoid her drama. incredibly emotionally stressful to deal with mokouDead

@twinspin6 @snacks @ube god i love exciting new stimuli

except when it’s manmade because that usually means cars, ads, terrible music and loud men

@mia @ube never really associated autism with drama, at least emotional one tbh

@snacks @ube it can be if you’re trying to make your normie needs and preferences work in an intimate relationship

@snacks @ube i mean just making dinner was stressful because she’d only enjoy utter slop reduced to a single texture and few distinct flavors

@ube @snacks me not being entirely neurotypical is part of the problem. got the type of ADHD that knows no routine and is constantly understimulated but also at the verge of a breakdown at the slightest provocation

@mia @ube tbh, i wouldn't enjoy cooking like that either, sounds like sad cooking.
It's only specific textures i can't deal with, mixing stuff isn't an issue for me, didn't know it is for others

@snacks @ube yeah for some people it is.

with lexi certain textures definitely made her extremely nauseous after a couple bites. mixing textures also tended to cause that but not always

@mia @snacks @ube I worked really hard on escaping my chocco cereals for breakfast + dinner arc but I'm slowly regressing back

@nigger @mia @ube petty smh. That's not how you foster better living together where everyone respeccs boundaries and shit

@nigger @snacks @ube lexi never made a habit out of closing doors like an adult, citing executive dysfunction

that shit and stomping through the apartment on heels drives me up the wall ngl

@shitpisscum@mrhands.horse @ube@spergia.net @nigger@spergia.net It's particularly useful when applied properly... in my case I shifted from using space visualization to music, since I tend to experience more deja vu with the former and I usually have better retention with the latter cirno_shrug

@ube@spergia.net @snacks@netzsphaere.xyz @ceo_of_monoeye_dating@tsundere.love @nigger@spergia.net I wish my sister's were 20 years younger, we'd have a fuckton of kids by now and I wouldn't have to worry about my bloodline akko_weary
