I melted my T495 when the first iteration of linux 5.12 (I think, it might have been 5.15) where thinkpads didnt go to sleep at all, it was when poast first started I was sleeping with my thinkpad under my pillow. I woke up to screaming it was at like 95C. Lenovo replaced it no problem. that laptop still going hard to this day too
