I'mma buy a straight bar bike and switch it to drop bar ig. That way i get better shifters and handlebar while saving some moneys

mtb to road/gravel conversions is how you get cursed geometry or a poor fit. Not impossible, but not sure if you should get a bike with same frame size if you plan to switch to drops

@snacks maybe the versions with different bars have different stem length? because with drops you usually want it to be longer

@snowy they don't mention it, but the flat bar version looks like the stem is significantly longer actually. It does have bent bakwards trekking bars tho
