but, gonna argue a point. complete bags of shit can make good art, see the likes of deadmau5 for example.. and unfortunately, so many artists i enjoy are shitty people in their interpersonal relationships.
separate the art and the artist. please. it's plenty possible to hold distain for a person and still appreciate what they create.

Him and exurvia are in that same vein of them being horrific assholes sullying the ‘wholesome spiritedness’ of what they are doing. They used their endearing and positive worldviews as a shield to trample and ruin the lives of innocent people.

Death of the author is the default opinion on most of fedi. This isnt twitter. People are actually kind of smart about stuff around here and prefer to operate with nuance in mind.
