amazing how mpv/yt-dlp are no longer horribly slow. streams start at least as fast as in the browser AND the seeking/buffering behavior is better
also youtube’s RSS feeds still work somehow which has to be an oversight because those endpoints tend to error out with 2006-era generic google error pages when there’s cache misses and/or backend flakiness
