@bajax I'm fiddling around with f0x's backstory a bit. But I want it to be slice of life if it were about a group of savvy criminals in a post-apocalyptic setting with futuristic tech n' 00's nostalgia. f0x's design is done basically, with a robotic left arm that she lost due to being haunted by a yako which gave her the cwd/rabies-ish disease that made her a criminal anyway.

@bajax I don't want to go the corpo bad guys route, pretty much because it represents reality and has therefore been done 100+10 times. I think its plot motivation is going to be something really stupid and mundane, but because it's set in a not-so usual world it'll become odd naturally. It's the world where I keep all my darlings.

@bajax yeah. Definitely a character driven story. Arette "3lli3" L'Antima is some winged girl who fell from a floating island during a thunderstorm, having had both of her legs replaced by f0x's mad scientist friend who helped upgrade her arm, Roan Smythe n' such.

@bajax oh i forgot to tie that thought up. Basically her arc is she needs to return to the floating island without being seen as a winged lass because obviously that'd draw attention to her otherwise secret-only-found-in-legends countryside.

@f0x sounds a lot like a setting I used to have... but it was more inspired by works in the vein of biomega and Blame! That kind of cyberpunk gritty detail and gaudiness is top tier
