Two things I need to upgrade for next winter: gloves and boots.
My NorthFace gloves suck. They’re warm, but get wet pretty quickly if they get snow on them. Which kinda defeats the point of wearing thick gloves. They’re warmer than those thin -I’m just going outside real quick and not touching anything- gloves, but still.
My boots aren’t insulated. So. Obvious why I need to upgrade those. They’re waterproof and a thick pair of socks keeps me good for about 45mins tho.

@whirly re:gloves, hestra heli 3 finger army leather or something from swany maybe? Those hestras are warm enough and deal with water well enough to keep my hands in normal condition clearing snow/in heavy wind and such, even w/ raynaud's syndrome

@slowfallinward thanks for the suggestion! I’ve never tried a 3 finger glove before so I might have to look in stores to see what that’d feel like before ordering, but they look warm
