the only thing a bit unusual for me about keyboard is the US layout. I chose it, but that the \ is so big feels strange to me. They could have added another key.

@kaia @RedTechEngineer Isn't it the same width as the return key would occupy in the ISO layout anyway? And with the ISO layout the backlash gets moved to left shift making it small.

@kaia so i don't know for sure because i can't find any claims to why. this is pure speculation here but i think its because everyone copied the model m and the model m only had 14 (00-13) key columns so they just made that key extra wide because they wouldn't be able to electrically connect another key in that position. just a guess, i don't even know that the model m only did 00-13 or even did this electrical layout but it would make sense to me.

@paula8 switchable keycaps means you can move them. or do you mean the general layout? do you use ISO?
