@Shadowman311 “what the fuck they’re just killing the cops”
lmao yeah it turns out that people can just do things
@BroDrillard @Shadowman311 @sickburnbro I’m minded to ask how many Canadian truckers those two pigs hassled
if the answer is not “zero”, then I don’t care that they got shot; pigs die, God laughs
@Shadowman311 can we just refer to them as “comfort officers” now and have it be implicitly understood that their jobs are “do the paperwork”, “serve the coffee” and “dole out the blowjobs”?
@Shadowman311 LOL sounds like a deleted scene from Demolition Man.
@sickburnbro @BroDrillard @Shadowman311 counterpoint: there exists a point at which you do, in fact, need to make them your enemy
whether that point is somewhere ahead of us or in the rearview mirror is, of course, a matter for debate
@Druid @Shadowman311 if we're being completely honest, any random cop male or female would probably do the same thing if there's a guy running at you from the same place the shooter is lighting you up from. it's extremely unfortunate but if you don't take that shot and it turns out it was the guy, you're dead instead. it's much easier for us, looking from a bird's eye view hours later, to make that judgement call.
her partner going down crawls away while she's trying to hold position. running over to check on him at that point would be compromising herself.
running away and not neutralizing the threat, on the other hand, is the actual problem here. at the very least, you want to hold him there for as long as possible before backup can arrive. neutralize threat, then check on officer/civilian. you chose to be a cop, you chose to put your life on the line, you need to do that in order to protect everyone else then that's what you gotta' do.
