Don't get me wrong, AP is an interesting protocol but I wish it had clearer rules on, for example, when strings and when objects are used. The constant deserialization issues and unofficial requirements piss me off

I know. The object/activity system makes sense and is easy to understand but it gets more and more complicated with every extension and undocumented requirement. Like the HTTP signatures or soon the signed entity fetching.
I'd love to see some website or Git repository which documents the spec like it's really used instead of the "oh, it CAN work like this and it SHOULD..." spec we have now
