I'm trying to save a dog. her name is brownie, she lives in Saipan, an Island in the northern Mariana Islands. There are more dogs than there are people on the island, and they end up getting sent to the kill shelters after a few days instead of loving homes.

This dog, brownie, is special to me. She's smaller than most boonies, which is the breed Saipan has, they were left there after world war 2 by american soldiers after the battle of Saipan, to live free roaming on the island. And so, as you can imagine, there's lots of strays.

Brownie means a lot to me. She has a great personality, is energetic, adventurous, and loves other people. She's very special. She's friends with cats, chickens, other dogs, and many people, and spends most of her days playing with Helena, @vriska 's dog.

Right now she is being taken care of by Vriska's neighbor, until someone who can take care of her and adopt her can give her a good home. I hope to be that person. To get her from Saipan to Illinois, it's $3600 dollars. This covers vet costs, travel costs, and supplies. I'd really love to rescue this dog. Not only for brownie, but for rose. Seeing her in a kill shelter would be such a sad end.

Please help me save brownie. Help rose save brownie. Help us save brownie. I can give her a good home, I have five acres in rural illinois she'd be able to live on, and have friends with our chickens, cats, and more.
