This is why I said "the mean accounts", not "Poast". There are a lot of cool people on Poast. Informally, just from the time spent running FSE, the people that caused problems seemed to be very few, and the analysis from years back had results consistent with that. The only issue with Poast is that 2-4% ends up multiplied by a larger total number of users, and the nature of the issue: you'll see noisier people far more often.

I have hoped for this and have not seen it. I've seen internet-Nazis complaining about Larry Fink or the IMF/World Bank/Rothschilds/Rockefellers/Carnegies/etc., and I say "You know, if you just put down your fixation on Jews for a minute, you could get people behind eliminating that particular stranglehold; even I'd sign up for that." Same as with the commies, the ideology is more important than the practical effects. So the big international banks will stay right where they are, ruining everything like usual.

This is actually why I was a little harsh initially, I'm so used to people jumping in and being in one brigade or the other that it gets hard to notice when someone's got an opinion that doesn't fit into the culture-war box; apologies.
