It is, no healthy children should have to go through any sort of hormone therapy and it's very well known that in plenty of cases these minors are victims of coercion and manipulation in social media.
I'm 100% certain the large majority of minors that transitioned in the last two decades would've never transitioned and potentially ruined their lives if their parents didn't throw them and let them at mercy of Discord echochambers.

@sally @lucy i don’t know a single late transitioner who hasn’t been abused and emotionally neglected by their parents and other adults. not one.
and they all say they wish hrt had been available to them way sooner, or that just being aware that transitioning is a real option and that wanting it for themselves is okay would’ve helped.
i was very much aware of how irreversible this is back when i was 14. only reason i repressed was because the real danger wasn’t hrt, it was other people.

The real problem is bad parenting, not being denied transition, a victim of mistreatment has blinded judgement, and that fuels Discord shenanigans even more.
