I really want to work on aerospace and nothing gets me as excited as manned space flight but the idea of writing code that peoples lives will directly depend on scares the shit out of me

@skadi your code is not the problem. the problem is the proprietary code and hardware your employer purchased from a company who lied about what their product is capable of and what operating conditions it can tolerate without impact on performance

@skadi if you feel even a hint of responsibility it’s gotta be better than industry standard (which is so bad you can’t even trust certifications)
