But I'm just being a weirdo in this case, I noticed and leave requests alone until I know someone well enough to accept mostly.* My account used to be open to everyone and I didn't like that experience so I wanted to try something different when I started over here. As soon as they moved to Jodie and her scripts, I was out. Although I never finished Capaldi's era. Guess I got bored. He was the best part of it but there comes a point where one man can't carry a badly written script. Especially when there are other more entertaining things to watch or read. Glad I'm not alone again in realising his era went downhill.

I got bored, the scripts were bad and there was nothing to keep me watching. I'm not exactly sure what my reasoning at the time was. I just clicked off and now I get second-hand embarrassment even thinking that I liked the series once. Once you notice how bad the script is, it's hard to ignore it. I laugh at it now too.

Yeah. I think the actors did their best with a bad script and direction for it. But there really is only so much they can do. That's how I usually feel. Unless an actor is particularly bad across different roles.
Back to the topic of pretty guys though, I really do feel bad for some of them. Because guys are more likely to want to feminise them, turn them into women. There is that dark side to being a young cute man. I just want them to be cute and masculine and themselves, to gain confidence and experience over time so they are comfortable being men. To grow into that.
