@VIPPER @Cyrillic @adachi they can be, a lot of people feel shame over those things. The difference is that a gay man isn't going to blame abuse on being gay unlike straight people. A straight person might also feel confused and ashamed of having bodily responses to the abuse. It doesn't change a single thing though.
