I've said it before but the funniest part of the phrase "It's the Jews!" is the unqualified dummy pronoun. WHAT'S the Jews? What's the "it?" Why, it's "everything being so fucking awful" of course. So if you start an exchange with that unqualified "it" you're automatically talking about "why things are so awful" and your statement is an automatic response to "why things are so awful" because of course the person you're talking to was thinking about it, because we're all thinking about how awful things are, all the time.
