@NateHiggers1488 @ceo_of_monoeye_dating @grey ok, to be fair I kinda get it. Expiry dates on products don't actually mean the product instantly goes bad as soon as the day comes. It's still safe to eat for some time (depending on the product), but stores can't actually sell them because of laws.
Stores won't give them out too, because if they give you an expired product for free, they can be liable if you get ill from it.
But getting it from the dumpster still sucks. Usually there are NGOs that collect expired products and redistribute them, so they act as a "buffer" between the store and the people getting it. Aren't there any of those you can freeload from?
