@kim @amelia i touch grass all the time. usually when it's dark outside tho, the brightness is exhausting (and in summer actually painful feel like my eyes are on fire). in fact i literally make people touch grass whenever i meet someone irl and im not talking about weed. all the jobs i had for the past years were either during the night or in dark or dimly lit rooms.

going outside in summer sucks for me because i have to drown myself in sunscreen because god hates me and made me a redhead and then everything's sticky and i feel slimy and then because its summer you start sweating and that just makes everything worse and to mitigate sweating i can either dress showing more than 50% skin but that means more sunscreen or i can do modest cathmode but that means sweat hell so i usually go for the slut option but when i did this in barcelona old men took pictures of me in the bus and GRAAAHHHHHHHHH
love going outside tho, really nice to just idk be outside :)

@kim @amelia yeah the worst about summer is choosing between leaving the hoodie at home or dying heat death and im still alive so i always gave up fighting the heat. i love autumn, it's cold enough to wrap myself in multiple layers of clothing but not too cold, there's pretty colors everywhere and it's the harvest season and there's mushrooms and pumpkins..

@kim @lucy @amelia you need extra thick fabric. counterintuitive but it does shield you from the worst heat, and it can soak up enough water for almost an entire day of evaporative cooling
i used to pull this trick at open-air metal festivals. people around me nearly collapsing from heat stroke while i was nice and cool in my wet sweater
