I seriously don't understand how earbuds became so popular over bone conduction headphones. Earbuds SUCK. They impact your earwax, they constantly fall out.

Bone conduction headphones are great. They hold on no matter what, you don't have to shamble to take them out and put them back in whenever someone talks to you, and if they aren't good enough for your audio, just use headphones like a proper human being.

I mean come on, with bone conduction headphones you can literally beam the sweet siren song of your favorite ASMR vtuber into your skull while you shower how the hell are you not sold?

If you use earbuds, you will not be allowed into Agartha.

@snacks The compactness is nice because you haven't got headphones on your neck but the downside of it is that you will drop them eventually as you keep taking them out, I really grew to hate that. One time I had to rappel down from the balcony on an outcrop below because I dropped one of my buds live... Bone conduction headphones are just there.

And if earbud ANC is enough then you just haven't had a slavic coworker yet, not to mention earbuds tend to lack in the passive noise isolation department. I ordered a pair of Dyson Zones, praying I can get him down to at least below throbbing headache level.

@lucy Clamshells are better for noise isolation anyways. I got nothing against clamshells.

Although bone conduction headphones + earplugs are hard to beat.

@Takom @lucy i also have a well-calibrated water-proof ceiling speaker in the shower; it too conducts music through bones

@mia @lucy Okay that's cool as heck. I really need to invest in some speakers for my living space.
