well in general i’d be somewhat careful around e.g. suicidal ideation unless you really want to increase your chances of getting a drug prescription (at best). if you focus on naming concrete things that are “draining your will to live”, that’s a different matter though, because identifying these gives a therapist something to work with. for example, you may be stuck seeing certain things as completely immutable or out of your control, and be completely preoccupied with those thoughts and drastically overestimating their importance—even when there are other things you can address to improve your overall situation significantly
