I lost interest in competitive FPS because most of them nowadays are infested with cheating fucktards using strike packs / cronus zen on consoles and DMA / script cheaters on PC. If the players can't play clean then it's a waste of time.

They should just have prox/text chat disabled by default and people can turn it on if they want to. Removing it wholesale is so dumb.

Now with online and Valve MM being the standard instead of private servers it's mostly idiots cheating for days because of the lack of moderation.
That's just for CS though other games are pretty bad. I know R6:Siege is infested with em as well but Ubisoft is on the verge of bankrupcy so I doubt they have any money to hire jannies to moderate their game servers.

How is it in this globalized, constantly interconnected world, we can't just play a new game with unrestricted communication with each other?
Play some card game, 5 pre-set phrases if anything. Somehow you can even get banned for having a trolly strategy.
Play a shooter, can only communicate with your team if at all, also AI is scraping both text and voice chat to ban you if you say anything naughty.
