I can give you 60 hrs/week for the entire summer. I'll give half board, as much ale as you can drink after the yard arm pass and I'll pay £2k/month cash. You'll have to get yourself here though and don't be a pussy cos its hard graft. Also, 3am starts non negotiable.

@lucy i know there are specific pages for job listings per programming language if you end up looking into that. i saw really good shit for clojure for example.

@lucy Have you tried reaching out to the people at Fairphone and MNT? I think they're both based out of Germany and they both have people who work on low level ARM stuff

@lucy Doesn't matter, track down some of their engineers and reach out asking if they'd be interested in an apprentice, intern, or junior engineer, if they are they'll hopefully be able to figure it out with HR
I know one of them is also a maintainer of Postmarket OS and has given some talks about porting Linux to new ARM SOCs, I don't remember his name but he might be a good point of contact

@lucy Seriously, if you only send your resume and cover letter to open positions you will never get a job
Establish relationships with the actual engineers and if they decide you're good enough (and you absolutely 100% are) they can put pressure on HR to add a position or get you an interview
