Console releases are pretty significant for sales tho, which is why they would probably prefer cuck licensed engines like Godot. Or get a deal with ID, but there's less developers out there experienced with ID 4

tbh I don't even see it as that bad, Nintendo hardware are the only thing keeping couch coop/pvp and splitscreen alive, while Xbox doesn't even put it in Halo anymore, and Playstation only makes movies with some action levels in between. The fact that Switch is somewhat mainstream means everyone has controllers by default, docks also plenty in every apartment < ~30 yrs.
