Pakistan's opening moves have been stunning so far, seems like everybody underestimated how hard they'd be able to hit. Whether they'll be able to maintain the momentum is yet to be seen, though. They could fall into the same trap Russia did if they squander the strong opener, since India seems likely to be able to tank attrition for far longer than Pakistan can if their warfighting efforts begin to slow.

I mean, they're ethnically identical. The difference here comes down to religion/culture, and as a betting man I'd say Muslims have the warfighting advantage against Hindus due to being far more spiritually and culturally unified.

That's the thing, what they believe in isn't really unified. What we refer to as "Hinduism" isn't a discrete spirituality in the same way that other world religions can be defined. It's more like a loosely-correlated collection of thousands of polytheistic cults.

Practically any Indian abroad will admit the reality of India whenever faced with the prospect of being sent back home. The mere thought of White people sending them back elicits horror like they just got told they're being shipped off to an extermination camp. On a certain level I can empathize with the ones who are less...jeeted, but they still have to go back. I mean, I get it Ranjesh, but the reason I want you sent home is the same reason you don't want to go home. I don't want India exported here. It is what it is, bud.

Maybe India could become less of a loathsome place if the Indians who aren't completely loathsome couldn't just flee their homeland to every other corner of the world while the place they came from remains a festering ulcer upon the Earth. It's hard to be overly sympathetic to people so obnoxiously nationalistic and resistant to cultural assimilation abroad when it's plainly obvious they'd rather settle anywhere else.

I think the Sikhs had some success against Muslim incursions, but only because they're one of the more coherent offshoots from the chaotic mess of Hindu cults and were able to organize themselves more effectively.
