@why But 13-14 satisfies me plenty. They fit nicely in the hand. And provided it's held at head level with a stand, it's big enough for single tasking. Need to multitask for a laugh? There's a tool for that, it's called frantic alt-tabbing. For extreme cases I just take a cheap 17" portable screen. That and a 14" laptop weigh about as much as a 17" laptop would.

@guizzy @why My 17.4" laptop weighs 3.5kg and the charger 1kg, which is perfectly comfortable to carry tbh.

@nerthos @why My personal 13" laptop weighs 1.1kg, and my work 14" laptop weigh 1.4kg. They use the same lightweight GaN 65W USB-C charger which leaves me room in my backpack to carry a ridiculous amount of accessories. Like a 1kg mechanical keyboard, a 1kg portable screen, a folding stand, etc... All of which optional, which means I can travel as light or kitted out as I want.

@guizzy @why From a "logical" point of view that all makes sense but consider, you'll never get SWOLE with 4kg of load
