I don't understand why there's such an attitude towards being trans where it's always considered an individual's unaffected completely correct and immune to outside manipulation choice (except in very obvious undeniable cases of grooming, which are exclusively of minors but if an adult gets manipulated its fine) when people have been manipulated into all kinds of things but somehow a lot of people jump to defending absolutely every case as completely lacking in any trace of outside influence, simply as a self-defense thing against transphobia whose narrative on the other hand is that absolutely every case is like that
