@paula8 @snacks what species is this? in most species of hermaphroditic fish like groupers and wrasses it's the opposite where if you remove the male from the harem the largest and most dominant female ends up becoming a male herself. most fish species are neither protandrous or protogynous hermaphrodites and do not undergo a sex change in life.

forthy42@mastodon.net2o.de@paula8 We put a mirror at the side of the Aquarium. Single male fish tried a week to fight the other one and then gave in and become female.
