Be very aware and afraid of anyone who ever, under any context, claims that either they, another person, group or project/initiative is the future.
If something is the future, then you need to be worried, because one day it might be.
I said this before on Mastodon, and then said it again recently on IRC. Well, it's such profound wisdom that I will share it here:
You are not the future. You're a choice, one of many.
If you're the only future, then you're probably the enemy.
