Overall i would say that the average American car driver is quite a good driver. Hands down no question, the worst drivers in terms of quality are California driver's. True I've only been to like half the states now but they are, to my eye, been exceptionally shit. Pickup drivers tend to be the bmw shitbox drivers of home. Aggressive, offended if you dare pass them, etc.

Traffic signage is terrible, I've seen a lot of just ought right wrong signage, both temporary and permanent ones. Vegas is def the worst offender with just having no functional signage and what exists tends to be wrong.

Highway qualities and connectivities are top tier. With a car, you can go anywhere. With legs, you can die under a car in a lot of places.

Being able to buy gas for 2.2 dollars per gallon is nuts

To you Europeans, that's like 0.5 eur per liter

@lebronjames75 there's a few hotspots where drivers are insane, but for the most part they're okay. when your entire life revolves around driving for at least 4 hours a day, you get pretty good at it

@genmaicha it's very nice to observe and experience. Haven't had a dull day honestly. I could see myself living in the north most states, but never in the others. The natural wonders are wonderful. I speak with a bunch of rando passing Americans (internal tourists, service workers, 1 hair salon cause i had my hair cut, and some others), and from the short conversations, i get the feel like most Americans are sleeping on America, so to say. Even their backyard states aren't explored, let alone the neighboring states. This is simply my anecdotal impression.

P much all stereotypes in my head with relation to the US are true, but they have more balance to them. Waffle house so far is the biggest supriser for me, the best service and good food I've had so far. it was one of the two places so pleasing to me that I've left a tip at. Gordon Ramsay on suicide watch
