I saw somebody put a torch on top of a waterfall in vintage story and the entire body of water just went away like what the fuck

@anemone I was checking out videos of an enemy called a Bell which looks genuinely horrifying if you were to encounter it randomly

@RustyCrab@clubcyberia.co ive tried to get into stuff like that before but I've realized that for a game to hold my interest I need to be killing things constantly. can be other players or npc enemies but if im not killing something every few seconds i lose interest pretty quick

@anemone sort of. There is actual progression and a lot of survival elements that I dont think are in Minecraft. I would honestly describe it as "Minecraft for adults" and/or "Minecraft for wilderness survival enthusiasts" you would probably like it

@anemone I think there may be more enemies in the game than in Minecraft. There are random nightly raids by drifters wherever you are living and I believe that hunting with spears, swords and bows is more of a mechanic. We definitely have to kill many things

@anemone I havent gotten there yet but the "goal" of the game is to build up enough technology to invade hell and kill a giant monster or something
