seasonal weebshit catches me off guard so much. they always talk about new anime like it's been around forever like everyone knows what it is. so i assume it has been around forever. like bocchi the rock or frieren or that other dogshit anime.
>Madhouse has produced an anime television series adaptation, with its first 28-episode season broadcast from September 2023 to March 2024.

what pisses me off about this is that they treat every single new seasonal slop that comes out like it's a classic anime or something. no nigga, bocchi the rock sucks and so does family spy and so does frieren and so does chain man

@snacks @SuperDicq i'm honestly not even complaining about that all anime looks the same to me it's like chinese people. i just hate the way it magically gets an astroturfed fanbase

@meso Yeah and the same counts for any generation of anime. Most of it people won’t remember, but a handful of shows, of which I’m certain Frieren is part of, that will be.

@meso @SuperDicq idk what you're talking about. You're mad that like an anime per year gets popular? because?

@snacks @SuperDicq because they talk about it like faggots. it suddenly pops up and there isnt like a "guys are you excited about this anime that comes out" "bocchi the rock came out" it's just BOCCHI THE ROCK MEMES everywhere as if that anime's been around for 300 years and there's already a huge base of memes for it but they were all created 2 weeks ago

@meso @snacks I do think that Bocchi The Rock was one of the best of SOL anime in recent years.

It combined everything that people liked about K-On and mixed a good amount of Watamote in there.

@meso @SuperDicq a bunch of these memes are aloder than the shows, at least for chainsaw man and frieren. Also, people meme about stuff as it airs and they discuss the latest episode together

@meso

Meanwhile here I am with the most memorable anime I've watched in the past year being LOGH (1982-1987).

@yomiel @SuperDicq @snacks @meso k-on was a very relatable show for me being in the string orchestra in high school and leaving my friends behind upon graduation. It was cute and heartwarming. A perfect show.
