ANCs are probably where powered earphones finally start tipping the value proposition. being able to toggle between open/closed/very closed is nice. now we just need to throw all the planned obsolescence businessmen in the ocean without life rafts.

@icedquinn kinda want buds with wire connection back, maybe make it detachable but i assume it really helps agains losing them

@snacks rythflo makes some neckband ones but they're both bluetooth-only and a shady chinese company that buys reviews. the sound quality is also on part with 15$ grocery store buds.

but at least the battery is good for 150 hours ablobcatgooglytenor

@snacks it would be funny to make a law that anything designed to fail before its carbon capture period has to have a cigarette box style "DESIGNED TO FAIL: E-WASTE" in big black and red safety print on the container

@icedquinn buds don't even have to fail, it's so easy to lose one of the 3 parts you need
