@yomiel @lain @hfaust It's literally just;
Ellipse tool > Draw circle > Edit > Stroke Selection > Set options > your circle is stroked

Truly, the UNIX philosophy in action. Certainly no need for pesky bloat, like a circle tool.

@yomiel @lain @hfaust GNU's Not Unix.

There's no reason adding an extra tool when you can just draw a ellipse that is a circle by holding C-M or setting width & height to the same value.

This would be an example of the UNIX philosophy. Which is a specific thing. Many programmers who use Busybox/Linux follow the UNIX philosophy when creating programs.

@yomiel @lain @hfaust That statement makes no sense, as BusyBox was developed by taking a bunch of ancient GNU and other software from many projects and removing essential features, to leave a crippled mess that does not run well - while the Unix philosophy at least includes making software work well.

@Suiseiseki @lain @hfaust
Then why'd you contest "UNIX philosophy", since you clearly knew it was a phrase? faggot

@yomiel @Suiseiseki @lain @hfaust circles are just a special case of ellipses, gimp is in the right here

@Suiseiseki @lain @yomiel @hfaust as usual it is limited to destructive operations even when you’re using actual vector drawings instead of the selection buffer
