if you want a full streaming setup you could set up jellyfin

you can also just host a regular http file host with python and stream that through vlc

@rose that's what i'm trying rn, just using mpv instead of vlc. Too dumb to figure out why i can't reach it tho

@snacks @rose copyparty works out of the box if you're fine with streaming from your browser's media player, might need a bit of work in python otherwise
