@snacks Dell now sells ram upgrades at higher prices than apple on their business laptops. It's literally cheaper to get a Mac for a business than a Dell.

bruh_momento@shota.house@phnt@pl.borked.technology Our IT department won't give us MacBooks because "it just doesn't work for business" AKA they can't put enough spyware on it, so we get cheap HP laptops whose 16 GB of RAM is sucked up instantly by Windows 11, Cursor, and Teams. Anything to ensure that we have Netskope and other BS to log and lock down everything. This will also be the case for many other companies.
