My favourite part is at the end where he says that the prices are way cheaper than they are in America, as if he doesn't know that Russians are paid less.

@yomiel I wouldn’t be surprised if it was cheaper relative to their wages though.

@Griffith @yomiel I saw a video where someone compares the numbers, and food is more expensive compared to the median Russian wage than US prices compared to median US wages, with few exceptions.

People love to put content bashing Russia on YouTube, it’s kind of its own content mill.

@Griffith @yomiel Maybe. There is still kind of the question of why things are cheaper just by raw numbers though, irrespective of median income. It's not like Russia produces more food than the US.

@fwc @yomiel They have less than 1/2 the population and a ton of agricultural land per capita. Currency and trade considerations like that aside, that’s my guess.
