@snacks @dps910 It very likely is. I'm having a similar issue with audio buffer being written to quickly, instead of the usual underrun.

@snacks @dps910 Running 1.4, I might try updating to 1.6. I doubt it was fixed though.

@dps910 @snacks No, 1.6 didn't fix it. Working audio on Linux, not even once.

@phnt @snacks @dps910 they made a change sometime ago, saying that "hw should support this, if it doesnt, its a hw bug" and lo and behold a lot of hw doesn't seem to support it. you have to increase quant/minimum latency to acceptable levels

@mischievoustomato @dps910 @snacks and clock.force-quantum 1 completely borks the audio, nothing plays.

Everybody that is a member of FDO should unironically be barred from using computers.
