@snacks i was cleaning and accidentally unplugged my computer and when i restarted it and tried to log in my ps2 keyboard wasnt doing anything so i replugged everything rebooted a billion times and still nothing. not even in uefi

@snacks i dont think theres any way i caused serious hardware damage i just havent been able to diagnose whats wrong either

@coolbean oh shit. Only had my pc not recognizing hotplugged ps2 devices. Didn't know it could start acting up like that

@snacks yea i rebooted half a dozen times replugging everything to be sure nothings loose and it doesnt fucking work

@snacks also hotplugging not working is normal. its weirder when it does work and usually indicative of a usb adapter

@snacks yea i do not know what happened because i literally did not touch the motherfucking thing but its broken now. i broke it somehow. i cant even learn from the experience because i dont know what i did wrong

@coolbean technically stuff can just break from hotplugging if it's not designed for it, had something similar happen with the emmc on my pinebook killing the mb

@snacks im not fucking having it i did nothing wrong and certainly nothing that would permanently break my keyboard especially since it does still react to when i boot (lock key indicators light up). just no inputs go through after that
