@meeper@udongein.xyz Unfortunately there has to be a good reason or driving factor, the US is a massive motivation to move towards digital sovereignty, The only silver lining of trumps presidency is that we are moving away from the US and becoming more independent.

@meeper@udongein.xyz Thats why such a switch is not done over night, you would need to train professionals to use opensource alternatives.
Usually this starts with govt and critical servicers like health care, people there start working with it, start using it at home, OEM's start offering it as an option then it will propogate and eventually people will pick that over the slopware that comes from the US.
It helps alot that microsoft is Kurt Kobaining themselves
