So, the totally solid state battery had its electrolyte cook off at 100C

@snacks That's kind of expected if you heat a battery up to 100°C.

Clearly that's a simple matter of engineering to use a decent heat-sink so the battery doesn't hit 100°C.

@Suiseiseki they claimed that the battery is solid state, so no water, and that 100C is within it's operating temperature

@snacks It's solid state - liquid electrolyte batteries burst into flames, or leak electrolyte everywhere if the packaging is compromised.

@Suiseiseki the packaging is still intact and there's liquid electrolyte batteries you can drive nails through without starting a fire
