You really can't expect me to ever have a postive view of pakistan. I'd view the denizens neutrally but

@meeper I have a positive-ish view of Pakistan because they're a dirt poor and deeply dysfunctional country that has nevertheless managed to build the best air force and intelligence service in the region and the first successful nuclear weapons program in the south Asia

@scathach Honestly I feel a lot of the bullcrap was strongly due to the US playing their game and causing chaos and radicalising muslims, especially since there was a socialist leaning.

(though honestly you can't say much when the nation was founded on the principle that "hindus and muslims are separate nations" and I don't even want to say why that take is honestly even insulting)

regardless both nations were supposed to be at good terms until kashmire permanently ruined it. Tho we were at a bad start with the whole mess of the parition (god bless the british who assigned a guy who hadn't even been to the place to oversee it) which was a modern disaster (my grandfather had his entire life uprooted and his father was killed in the riot, he had to build his life entirely form the ground up in a new place)

After all that paki just did increasingly worse and honestly it's effectively been a genocide of non muslims in the region and honestly
