@twinspin6 The first few days i really didn't like looking at the screen at all anymore, now it's more just that it gets boring reall quickly. Stilll enough that i spend way more time doing other stuff and prefer my desktop again

@snacks just consciously abstain from distractions, much more effective than taking out color

@snacks honestlyh what helped me most to get my shit together was to consciously start taking notes and break down stuff into small digestible things.
you need to strike a healthy balance between "oh i wrote it down so i gotta do it" and "its not that bad if i do X tomorrow".
its not easy, but you'll get there with time.

@k4t3 you're not the first person to tell me that, idk how people think i haven't tried. I just can't find a balance where stuff like yt/fedi/random web stuff isn't taking all my time without completely quitting on my own

@k4t3 I can manage chores and whatever else is required. Just want to spend my free time with nicer things than 4h yt doomscrolling

@twinspin6 well, i've managed to read most of a book, learned a lot about the lifecycle of plants (it's kinda wild tbh) and did a bunch of maintainance on my bike. All despite being half dead from pollen
