@whirly i did have 2 years of experience doing stuff, some people just have months but in switzerland you need to pass as a recruit (not doing missions but participating in training, basically 3 hours every few weeks, with some other longer ones every now and then).
you also need some experience in SCBA and a health test, at least enough to operate that damn thing, trust me first time you use it, it halves your strength basically until your body gets acclimated to it.
but i def recommend joining a voluntary fire department, sure it can be tough but it's good and fulfilling work, so while sometimes your body gets tired, mentally it's refreshing, and whenever i find myself itching back to depressive habits it always slaps me back to my senses and gets my mood up
