its uhh . musl+chimerautils userland . chimerautils is forked off of freebsd userland . also , the ports tree is really good to work with . and uhh . people that work on it are nice
@rusty__shackleford @fiore bsd is pretty sweet in all honesty. I really liked openbsd and freebsd. The main reasons I don't use it are both have issues on laptops (or at least the laptops I tried). Openbsd worked flawlessly but the batter life was fucking horrible. Freebsd had a few acpi issues and the network stack would fail on me randomly often. I couldn't pin down why either.
