Note to self: two hot dogs is too high in fat.

@whirly don't remember what this guy said exactly to use, but iirc it's agood video on how you need way less than 1g/lb

@whirly ok, 0.55g/lb for maintainance. About half of the classic rule

@whirly you're in a steep deficit and i think already decently lean? So some more isn't bad but i'd say those 78g where absolutely enough

@whirly @snacks ~60-80g protein daily for ~70kg sized man should keep muscle

~100-120g to be able to easily build muscle

less than ~40g to lose muscle

modify protein g-s higher if you are extra buff muscled
g-s higher if you are bigger weight
g-s lower if you are smaller weight

or if you want the scientists
anything over 1.3g/kg (grams of protein per kg of body weight) will help you build muscle mass
going below 1.0g/kg maydecrease your muscle mass, at 0.7g/kg should decrease your muscle mass

@lebronjames75 @snacks @whirly per kg of *lean* body weight
doesnt change much for most people but does skew the math for people with lots of fat

@snacks ok so i think my healthy lean weight is around 108 so if i do .55g per lb it'd be ~59g, this would be my minimum?
i didnt really stop feeling starving until i ate around 50g. 70+ felt too full tho.
